Last summer I shared a trip to Publix Supermarket and their flower department. Today I’m sharing a fast trip to a local florist. I saw there wasn’t anyone in the store and made a quick stop. Don’t you love the wonderful smell of a room of flowers?
The lady was more than happy to let me wander and look at the arrangements and potted flowers. Love the roses and eucalyptus arrangement. Someone was really lucky to receive this bouquet.
Peace lily is one of my favorite house plants. It has to have shade to flourish which makes it perfect for most homes.
A quick visit that changed my day.

I haven’t been in a shop for such a long time, but I can imagine how enjoyable it would be to visit a flower shop. The arrangements would be a feast for the eyes and the perfume from the flowers would be a joy. All the best for the days ahead Carol.
…a bright and colorful place to visit.
What a charming florist shop!
A wonderful flower shop! A perfect place to dream.
Oh wow! Just look at all those flowers. I bet you were so happy to be there.
oh yes
I love flowers but struggle to see the big picture if I were to select the stems myself so prefer a ready made bouquet like the roses you featured. #mysundayphoto
Carol – my sister owns a florist shop, and there is no smell like it! I used to help her when I was younger. You are right that it would be a lucky person to get that rose bouquet!!! Thanks for sharing your little trip with everyone at Mosaic Monday!
Beautiful blooms!
I love visiting flower shops! They each have their own character.
Just getting out anywhere appeals to me at the moment! The colour provided by the florist must have lifted your spirits.
many beautiful flowers. Makes me miss then. I don´t have much plants left. 🙁
It does make you feel good inside and out to go inside a florist and see so much beauty in one spot. I haven’t done that in a long time! Thanks for sharing!
In my humble opinion, nothing is more beautiful and a bouquet of big red roses! The inside of the store is much more than flowers, and very pleasant to wander around:)Thank you for making All Seasons a pat of your trip to the florist! Have a lovely week, Jesh
That looks so pretty and refreshing – I should visit a florist myself since we’re in the midst of a gloomy stretch of weather! It would be nice to see and smell some pretty flowers!

Oh what a treat! I haven’t been to a florist shop in decades…but I remember the beautiful fragrance as you walk in. Lovely photos!! 🙂
I’ve not visited a florist for quite some time.
It certainly would be lovely to see and smell the pretty flowers again.
Happy Tuesday, Carol!
Happy Tuesday Veronica!
How beautiful! I love the arrangement and peace plant.

I had a peace lily for several decades. Eventually it outgrew even the largest pot I could move and it got pot bound.
I’ve had that problem before and gave plant away. Then I get another small one.
The perfect place for a color pick-me-up!
Thank you for being a part of ‘My Corner of the World’ this week!
What lovely flowers, and how nice of the lady to let you have a wander!
I completely enjoyed your visit to the florist. The stunning flowers and houseplants are a treat to the eyes. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
