Carol

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. This looks so inviting. Rick and I were saying that when we can fly again or travel, we might have to visit his dad in Punta Gorda. (Usually we see them in the NC mountains where they are in the summer.) It has been a bit too long and we are realizing the importance of connecting with family all the more, as it has been hard to even connect with our own.

  2. Oh those are just lovely! I miss seeing palm trees this year… and warm sandy beaches. Thanks so much for bringing the ocean side to me.

    1. Tarpon Springs was originally founded by Greek fisherman and sponge divers. The sponge docks are where the boats come into town and dock. It’s very popular among locals and tourists with restaurants and cruises available.

  3. Now this is my kind of post. We have a boat on the California Delta and we love to cruise on her. The most relaxing of things to do. Beautiful where you are.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥

    1. thanks so much for the invitations – I’ll come visit but may not be able to join in each week. For example, I usually do a new recipe on Monday, not quite MOnday Madness most of the time. Thanks for the visit Bud!

  4. My husband and I were in Tarpon Springs for a brief time this past January. We didn’t go to the docks but we walked some on a walking trail that I recall was in the middle of a street – not sure my memory is accurate or not. Enjoyed seeing your blue skies.

  5. Water has such a calming effect on the soul, no matter where it might be. These are some terrific captures.

I am glad you joined us at ‘My Corner of the World’ this week!!

    1. It is a very popular tourist area and during the winter and early spring lots of tourists fill the street. This time of year not as many people there.

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
