Living in Florida, one of my favoritee meals is fresh Gulf Shrimp. You can fix shrimp many ways, but today I’m writing about grilled marinated shrimp. The main thing to remember when cooking shrimp is to not cook it too long.
It is so hot here now in Florida; it is the perfect time to grill dinner. Mix the marinade, marinate the shrimp in the refrigerator, thread shrimp on skewers, and grill. They’re great with a big salad, pasta, potatoes, corn on the cob, or grilled vegetables. An easy dinner is skewers of vegetables and shrimp grilled and served together. Add bread and your meal is complete. If desired, grilled shrimp makes a great appetizer too. Try some with your next steak.

I love prawns but I’m in the minority in this household so I tend to enjoy them when we go for meals out! #MMBC
Oh wow! This looks amazing!! My mouth is watering just reading about it. x
These look yummy. I love seafood and these marinated certainly fit the ill. TFS.
have a great Monday!
These look so tasty. I would love to try them 🙂 #mmbc
thanks Claire
I love shrimp. I have been buying it once a month lately. We really miss our BBQ grill back home at the cabin. I’ve been cooking my shrimp on the stove with butter and garlic. They are still a favourite. – Margy
butter and garlic sound wonderful
I was interested in your marinade Carol. SWMBO doesn’t like to think of prawns(as we call them) spoiled by too much chilli or garlic (unlike me). I think I will have to experiment with the heat to make it acceptable to the boss.
leave out the hot sauce for sure
I love grilled shrimp; your marinade sounds amazing! Pinned.
thanks for the pin!
I had a package in the freezer when we left Florida the end of March, brought them across country in the camper freezer, ate them here in April. Wish I’d had a dozen packages…there’s nothing better. (Seafood is good here in Oregon, but no shrimp is as good as the pink gulf ones. Your recipe
I agree – Gulf shrimp are the best!

I love shrimp (although I am the wrong side of the pond to get the Gulf ones) and the flavours you have combined in the marinade sound delicious. x #OverTheMoon
