And The Blessings Of The Lord Rested Upon Us

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish …       KJV

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands….        NIV

Last week I shared two quotes from Laura Ingalls Wilder that were inspiring to me.  For me, many of the best quotes of inspiration are from scripture.  Today’s quote is based on Psalm 90:17.  The Book of Psalm was my favorite book of the Bible when I was a child.  Many evenings I read verses before I went to sleep.  Most of the Psalms were attributed to David, the shepherd. I could see him with his harp sitting by his sheep at night.  I loved his words.  They gave me comfort, strength, and peace.

The printable is a simple black and white print sized 10″ x 8″.

  1. That’s lovely, I remember our grade school nuns scaring the living daylights out of us with the Bible. My best friend and I took solace from the beautiful stained glass portraits in our church which we got to see five days a week for eight years.

    1. that’s a kind of sad memory – I love stain glass mirrors and also being frightened by sermons

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
