Country Floral Table

It’s been hot with beautiful blue skies most days here in central Florida.  We did finally have several days of rain this past weekend.  Maybe our wet summer season is here.  I’m celebrating in my home with a floral country table.

The round dining table is covered with my versatile long white tablecloth and a new for me floral topper I got at the senior complex rummage sale in January.  I’ve been waiting to use this beautiful patterned cloth, and today is the day.

For the place settings, I started with a woven round placemat for texture.

The next layer is a country tray I got several years ago.

The plate is a simple white plate.

Finally the top is a turquiose glass leaf salad plate.

Add a woven napkin holder with napkin, cutlery, and glasses and the place setting is finished.

The centerpiece is my milk glass vase with flowers beside my little pig with wings.  I guess today pigs will fly.

Thanks for the visit. Have a wonderful day!

    1. Monet is exactly what the tablecoth says to me – I got 4 of the leaf plates at the thrift store several years ago. I do like them a lot

  1. Very pretty– right down to the bow shaped napkins. I rarely think to get fancy with my cloth napkins and rings but that is cute. Pinned.

    1. thanks for the sweet comment – I’m getting better at tablescapes by just trying to make them.

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
