Spring Walk in North Carolina

I’ve asked friends for help with photos since

I am not leaving my home. These photos were taken by my childhood friend, Karol,

who lives in North Carolina with her husband.

Karol is sharing photos from an early morning walk in her garden and several gardens of close neighbors.

Carol

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

    1. I know – I really miss spring’ flowering trees. I’d need to drive to Georgia to see spring sometime.

  1. Thank you and Karol for the nice post. I miss flowers so much. Quarantine restricts my movement. We only have mountains, no gardens with flowers.

    1. I’d like to have a mountain in the distant horizon – Florida is very flat running to the ocean.

  2. Your friend has some great sights in her back yard. How generous of her to share these photos with you.

  3. Lovely tree shot from your friend ~ It is hard when one lives alone and no socializing now ~ might try getting out for a walk in nature if you are able ~ lots of hugs to you ^_^

  4. Beautiful photos. Flowers never fail to cheer me up.
I do love the look of that arch leading up to the door, stunning.
    Stay safe Carol. x

  5. How very lovely!!! I have family that lives in Charlotte and it is always a pleasure to travel there and visit! Have a grand day!

  6. Enjoyed seeing the pics! Thanks so much for linking up with me at #AThemedLinkup 16 for Gardening, open April 30 to May 10. All entries shared if social media buttons are installed.
