Red Roses in January

If you have visited before, you know I love flowers. Winter really is the perfect time to buy a bouquet.  A bouquet of flowers adds so much life to the home when everything is dark and dreary.

Carol

I was raised in Tennessee but have lived in Florida for many years. Love my small home in the Tampa Bay area and its developing garden. My decorating style is eclectic - some vintage, some cottage, all with a modern flair. Pursuing a healthier lifestyle. Spent many years in social services but am happily retired.

  1. I love roses too. Before we moved we had some gorgeous rose bushes in our garden. They had been there too long too uproot. I really must consider getting some here. So far I have just one bush of tea roses. Your lovely red roses remind me so much of my old bush.

    1. I am so jealous. I don’t try to grow roses in Florida. It’s really hard. I just buy pretty bouquets.

  2. Hi Carol! Thanks for linking your red roses on Amanda’s Books and More! I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be in St. Pete, FL with 2 of my daughters visiting my mom and stepdad in June-July. I think you reached out to me last time I was in there. I’m not sure how close that is to you. If you want to meet up, it will have to fit with everyone else, since I won’t have my own transport. You can email me or private message me on Instagram. Have a great day!

    1. I’d love to meet up with you but I’m not sure I’ll be in Florida June and July. It looks like I’ll be in Michigan visiting my sister. If this changes, I’ll send you a message. Thanks for letting me know. St. Pete is a little over an hour from me – very close indeed!

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
