Welcome to my 2020 review of 2019! It’s always fun to look back over the year to see what the top posts were. Some of my favorite posts made their way to the top posts from Comfort Spring for 2019. There were a couple of surprises on the list, too. Take a look back over the year with me and see if your favorite is on the list.
First let’s look at the top ten posts of 2019 by number of visits to the blog. Four of the top posts were printables; 3 were recipes and single posts on gardening, photography, and a giveaway:
X. Giveaway: Winnie’s Paint-By-Number Kit
IX. Happy Fall Autumn Camper Printable
VIII. How To Digitize Old Photos & Letters
V. Cream Cheese Penguin Appetizers
IV. Be Happy Inspirational Print
I must say that I did not include visits to my older post that were also in the Top Ten.
Elkmont Ghost Town in the Smokies from 2018 is still very popular with the same number of visits as Happy Fall Autumn Camper tying for #9. There is a pull for many of us when learning about abandoned homes, buildings and communities.
Now let’s review 2019 by going over link party features for the year. First I must say I feel really blessed by the kindness of Link Party hosts in their comments and selections for Party Features. My posts had a total of 147 features this past year. A big Thank you also to my readers who have given me supportive and constructive comments. I truly appreciate it.
2019 Link Party Features:
The majority of the 147 features were recipes. Most were featured at one party and some at two. Besides recipes, DIY, decor, and gardening posts were also featured.
A. 9 Posts with 3 Features included 7 recipes and 1 photography post as well as my Advent post:
Cast Iron Skillet Fruit Cobbler
Spicy Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad
B. Two 2019 Posts with 4 Features:
C. Finally, The Most Popular Post of The Year:
Spring Vegetable Garden Appetizer had 6 Link Party Features!
I must admit this is my favorite post of the year. I had so much fun making and helping to eat this spring appetizer. A local TV newscaster even visited my home to film me making it.
I hope you enjoyed this look back. I traditionally do a post on my favorite flower photos of the last year. I hope to do that post in the next week. Have a beautiful day!
