Today’s inspirational print is based on the words of First Lady Ladybird Johnson back in the 1960’s.
Where flowers bloom,
so does hope
I remember from my youth, her campaign to bring wildflowers back to the countryside. It was my first instance of realizing our impact on our environment and the need for change.
A larger quote from this inspirational lady is
“Some may wonder why I chose wildflowers when there are hunger and unemployment and the big bomb in the world. Well, I, for one, think we will survive, and I hope that along the way we can keep alive our experience with the flowering earth. For the bounty of nature is also one of the deep needs of man.”
I agree with the First Lady and believe flowers are a sign of hope in our world.

Beautiful print and beautiful sentiment. TFS.
Ladybird sure did make an impact with her wildflower campaign — it still rings true today. And this is lovely!
Oh what a lovely post and so I agree with the quote and LadyBird’s philosophy ~ I would rather have wildflowers anyday than a ‘hot house’ flower ^_^

I love wildflowers. We should think positively, rather than so negative.
Thank you for the lovely printable
