Start Each Day With A Grateful Heart

Gratitude is a state of mind that can help shape and change your day. Honestly, we know that but it’s so easy to forget it as we fill our days with lots of things to do.  Today I’m sharing a simple message of optimism, love, and hope based on Psalm 107:1. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. (NIV)

I find that being grateful is a positive way to start my day. Visual symbols are a way to remind me to be grateful when I wake up even when I wake up with problems. It can help me handle the bad things that life can bring.  I am not alone and I give thanks to the Lord.

  1. During Lent, we planted sunflowers each time we watered them the idea was to say a little prayer. I found it really made me focus on all the things I’m grateful for. #MMBC

  2. Love your printable and I want to thank you for the reminder. Sometimes life gets so busy until we, or shall I say, I forget. I started a gratitude journal at the beginning of the year and for awhile I was faithful and wrote something I was grateful for in it daily. But as the months wore on, I wrote less and less. Your article today has nudged be back to my journal again. Thank you and have a wonderful 4th of July.

  3. This is a wonderful message, Carol, and we can never have too many reminders. This week I read some articles in health journals on gratitude and being kinds because your attitude really can affect your health. Thanks for this (see what I did there?!)!

    1. You made a good connection! Yes I’ve read similar articles. Fostering a spirit of gratitude can indeed make us healthier and I for one am happier too.
