Pink Easter Table

Spring means soft pastels to me and lots of pink. Today’s table was inspired by beautiful porcelain candlestick holders, napkin rings, and spring floral plates.  Last year I found these beautiful candlestick holders with hand-made porcelain flowers at my favorite thrift store. I immediately bought them and put them away for spring. Last month I found these matching napkin rings at the same store. I’m not sure where they were hidden when I bought the candlesticks, but they are perfect for my Easter table.  Each napkin ring flower is different.

I started with a white lace tablecloth and a pink Depression glass cake plate. I added a milk glass vase filled with spring flowers.  I looped thrift store wooden Easter eggs to the flowers and hung them over the edge of the vase.  I added a plastic needlepoint cross in the middle of the flowers. It’s now perfect for Easter.

I had the vase on a small doily but I wanted a more floral look. I used dental floss and a large needle to run flowers together to wrap around the cake stand.  Now my centerpiece is complete.

My plates are a pink vintage floral pattern which reminds me of spring-flowering trees.  I added pink chargers from Ross for Less with silverware, pink napkins and the porcelain napkin rings.

In the corner on the wooden stand is an Easter spring garden vignette.

  3. Your Easter decorations are very pretty. Love the lace, the plates and the needlepoint cross. Thank you for sharing as you’ve given me some ideas. So far I’ve made an Easter display with hanging decorations and a palm cross candle sticks surrounded by artificial pale blue flowers.
