Mirror Christmas Makeover

Last week I set up my Advent candles in a simple vignette with wine glasses and Christmas ornaments on a tray. I placed it on my grandmother’s side table under my living room mirror.  I bought it several years ago and have wondered if I could decorate it for Christmas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I used flat glittered ornaments in two patterns: a silver bell and a turquoise snowflake.  I wanted to add them to the spokes surrounding the round mirror center.   I bought a box of little metal Christmas ornament hangers.  They are easily shaped and I put one end through the ornament and wrapped the other around the spoke.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They now hang around my mirror and add more sparkle and pops of color that go with my Advent candle vignette and my Christmas pillows on the white futon. I’m going with soft colors for the holidays this year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the center of the round mirror I added a silver ribbon and beaded ornament.  The corner of the living room is now set for the Christmas season.

 

 

 

 

 

 


I have to add a throw on the futon and more Christmas decorations. Next week I should be finished with my little projects and will share my holiday home.
