May is warm with blue skies here in Central Florida; it’s really the start of summer. The inspiration for my tablescape today was a handful of garden flowers from my friend and a new Ross for Less treasure, a country pig with wings.
I have the feeling you will be seeing a lot of him in the next few years. He would work well in any season.
I used my summer buffalo check red and white cotton tablecloth. The place setting starts with my metal country trays used as chargers with a plate rimmed with garden items.
I added a bowl with peaches around the rim.
Love my thrift-store white vintage napkins with frills on the side.
A simple table celebrating a country garden with a whimsical piggy touch.
Nothing really fancy today as I wanted a warm, welcoming down home feel…. A table that says sit, eat, and relax.
I hope you like my easy table with the cottage feel. Drop in again soon. The Welcome Mat is out.
