Several months ago, I found a vintage metal hanging heart at the thrift store. There is room for flowers and a hole for hanging. It is painted deep red with flowers and ribbons on the front.
This week I decided it’s time to bring it out and decorate. I have flowers from the dollar store.
I filled the back of the heart with off-white flowers.
Then I arranged red roses and hearts in front.
I hung it in the corner above the chalkboard sign.
It softens the rustic feel of the corner.

I love the spot of color; it brings my attention right to that corner! Here in Maine, I already have silk daffodils on my coffee table as I am so sick of winter. Cold is a cheap “upper” which helps my mild seasonal affective disorder! I bet you smile every time you pass by it!
Looks great and yes, it does soften the area! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
