Rustic Corner With A Heart

Several months ago, I found a vintage metal hanging heart  at the thrift store. There is room for flowers and a hole for hanging. It is painted deep red with flowers and ribbons on the front.

This week I decided it’s time to bring it out and decorate. I have flowers from the dollar store.

I filled the back of the heart with off-white flowers.

Then I arranged red roses and hearts in front.

I hung it in the corner above the chalkboard sign.

It softens the rustic feel of the corner.

  1. I love the spot of color; it brings my attention right to that corner! Here in Maine, I already have silk daffodils on my coffee table as I am so sick of winter. Cold is a cheap “upper” which helps my mild seasonal affective disorder! I bet you smile every time you pass by it!

  2. Delightful post, delightful nook, and delightful wall decoration!
Living in a home that is very contemporary and furnished with modern furniture and decorated with our modern art collection, it’s always nice to see simple, rustic and enchanting warm home decor. Thanks for sharing – and Happy Pink Saturday!

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
