Peppery arugula is the perfect vessel for this savory-sweet dish. My combination of arugula (with phytochemicals), dried cranberries (rich in antioxidants), dried nectarines ( with iron, potassium and antioxidants) and pecans (lowers bad cholesterol) is healthy and a wonderful treat for the senses in colors and taste.
I’m starting with a bag of organic baby arugula. The peppery tones play with the sweetness of dried fruit and a honey balsamic vinaigrette. Ripe cherry tomatoes and cucumbers add a great juicy taste, and feta cheese adds a creamy texture.

Thank you Carol…..have a lovely day!
I’m not a fan of arugula, we call this “rocket” in the UK, but your candies pecans definitely got me! I’ve got to try this out! #MMBC
Since you don’t like arugula, try it with a baby salad mix – that way the arugula is mixed with other baby greens.
This looks great Carol, I love mixing up my salads 🙂 #MMBC
This looks positively delicious!
Can’t wait to try it!!

thanks Lisa
Thanks for sharing this – it sounds delightful! But I had to look up what arugula was and found that it is what we usually call rocket!
I’ve never heard of rocket but it sounds fun.
I love arugula and it does go well with feta.
Wow! I love sweets.

I must admit, I love anything with arugula in it, so this recipe idea is right up my alley. I also find the combination of feta with dried fruit really appealing. Will definitely remember this combo – or better yet, pinning this one!
