My inspiration for my sunny table began with a thrift store curtain panel I got several months ago. I love the cheerful yellow fabric with flower prints. I folded the sides and used it as a table runner.
My rustic metal tray holds my clear crackle vase with painted flowers. Lemons fill the vase and tray.
I added several small succulents to the tray too.
I’m using fresh okra as decorations.
I’m using my vintage garden plates with the circle of garden elements.
I’m using yellow outdoor plates as chargers.
Thanks for visiting!

you set a lovely yellow happy sunshine table. Thank you for being part of the summer tablescape blog tour. hugs!
Thanks Katherine – have a great weekend!
I love the simple (yet pretty) accents on your table, like the okra (I’m Southern, so I love that!) and the sweet rickrack trim used as napkin rings. Your panel is a beautiful table runner, and I think it’s a clever idea to use it as a runner. I love the sunny yellows on your table. The older I get the more I love yellow! I also like your garden-themed plates. So cute! They are perfect for an end of summer table.

How clever to use okra as part of your table decor! The fabric you found is very pretty and a great addition to this beautiful table.
Thanks Sandra. Have a beautiful day!
So sunny and bright Carol! The gardener plates are so cute, and even though I love to combine food and flowers I have never thought of okra! That is super cute!! Love the folded floral fabric too~

Happy Saturday Jenna!
What a fun and happy tablescape Carol. It’s so cold here in South Africa right now and all those lovely bright yellows make me long for Summer. Perhaps I need to dress up our table in the same way just to bring some sunshine back in our lives
Yes I would surround myself with summer if I were you. When I lived up north, I had a tropical photo on my computer screen and calendar. Sun and warmth.
You always have such gorgeous table arrangements. Yellow roses are a favourite of mine. Such a happy colour.
Thanks Tara. Hope your weekend was happy and yellow.
Lovely tablescape Carol! So thoughtfully and tastefully arranged!
Thanks for the sweet comment Maya. Have a beautiful day.
Carol, what a cheerful, sunny and very welcoming table! And who knew you could decorate with okra! Very clever.
Lovely photos Carol. Love your table. Lemon are so lovely for decorating your table too 🙂 Thanks for sharing at The Weekend Blog Hop.
What a gorgeous tablescape, Carol! I love how you have used that beautiful curtain panel as a table runner! Thank you for sharing these lovely ideas with us at The Hearth and Soul Link Party.
Your tablescape is lovely! I do love the lemons and the yellow floral table runner. It is such an inviting place and cheerful to look at. That flatware is gorgeous! Love the ornate patterns.
I apologize for not coming by sooner. The day the One More Time challenge went live my poor big doggy had a major surgery. Since then, things have been intense caring for him and it leaves so little time to fully complete any task outside of changing bandages and doing the things he needs.
I’m hoping to make my rounds through everyones posts before he wakes up today.

No need for an apology. I’m happy you came by and enjoyed it. Hope your doggie is feeling better soon!
So lovely. What a nice surprise to see okra used in your decorations.
