My Patriotic Home

Just before Memorial Day, I started adding a few red, white, and blue touches to my home.  I started with my front door.  I got my wreath on clearance last year at the end of the summer.  I love the rustic feel of the twig heart with the red, white and blue accents.

In my entrance, I have a white wooden hook where I display seasonal decor.   This simple patriotic hanger was again bought last summer on sale.

My living room was updated with the bandanna pillows I made last year.

My patriotic planter is on the side table.

On the dining table is the red pitcher with white flowers and teddy bears on a red bandanna.  All of my bandannas were purchased last year at Dollar Tree.

Thanks for visiting and have a happy 4th of July!

Let's have fun this summer!

  1. Carol, I like all the little touches of patriotic decor that you’ve been adding. Not too much, but enough. I’ve been meaning to make a few bandana pillows too. Thanks for sharing with us this week!

  2. Bandanas are so fun for summer. Love your pillows! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

  3. So many cute decorations Carol. Wishing you a beautiful patriotic month, I know it’s a very special time for Americans

  4. My favorite thing is the heart-shaped grapevine wreath with the patriotic butterfly — so creative! I also like the bandanna pillows. What a great way to add red/white/blue to your interior decor for the summer.

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
