Purple and Gold Table For Autumn

Years ago I bought an antique tea set with beautiful colors and gold accents.   The brown background, pastel and deep colors go well with both jewel tone flowers as well as soft pastels. It is the inspiration for my purple and gold table.

The fragile porcelain tea cups, teapot, sugar bowl and creamer are the center of the table with flowers, eggplants, and pears.

The flowers are a mixture of peach, purple, lilac, and white.

The simple white table scarf is the only one I have from my mother.

  2. Wow! That is one gorgeous tea set. I love it because it is different. Not often do you see a tea set so in tune with decor. I really love how the dark background shows off the painted flowers and the gold is a great fall accent. This is such a pretty table, lending a cosy fall feeling to the entire room. And I love that you used something from your mother. It is a beautiful table runner.

  3. Your table vignette is beautiful. I adore that gorgeous tea set! What beautiful colors….so perfect for Fall!
