Roses & Periwinkle

On my table I used my vintage lace tablecloth, my brass candleholders, and a vase of flowers.  Two kinds of roses from the grocery store and periwinkle from the yard were mixed together.

I added two vintage china tea cups – one on each side.

Flowers do brighten the day and lift my spirit.

Wishing you a wonderful day with a sunny sky.

  1. Carol – so, so pretty. I love the two different sizes of roses – adds a lot of interest to this posy! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday, and Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. That’s a beautiful lace tablecloth. I have one that my great grandmother brought with here from Norway when she immigrated to the States in the late 1800s. She was a seamstress and brought a bag of laces as well. My mother used some of them to sew on patchwork vests. – Margy

    1. You must share photos of that tablecloth – it’s amazing the family has kept it through all these years. How wonderful too Margy. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love to make new friends and get to know you.
