Local peaches were available in May and I was chowing down on them. Florida’s produce is ready much faster than up north. When Florida peaches are gone, I switch to some from Georgia which is known for great peaches.
Peaches are so tasty and deceptively healthy for us. They filled with nutrients and are low in calories (50 per raw medium peach). For more information on the health benefits, check out Peaches A Great Addition to A Healthy Diet. Cut them up in salads, eat them raw, add to smoothies, and add to your morning cereal.
Today I’m sharing a super easy, tasty smoothie with fresh peaches, orange juice, Greek yogurt, a lime, and ginger. When out of season, use frozen peaches. It makes it frosty! This is a great warm weather breakfast, lunch or snack.

This sounds delicious. I do like smoothies. I hadn’t thought of using peaches before though. I think I am going to have to soon. x #MMBC
Let me know what you think. Have a lovely day.
Put ginger in anything and I’m a happy camper. This looks fabulous!
Makes me happy you like it – you made my day!
Sounds delish. Love peaches in smoothies.
I’m so glad you like it.
Oh I never eat peaches I shall make an effort now. I like the idea of them in a salad or smoothie #mmbc
I think you’d enjoy them
That would be something for me.
Peaches aren’t in season here (Ontario, Canada) until August – I’m jealous! This sounds so good – and perhaps also a good daiquiri starter? 😉 I love my breakfast smoothies – this one may go into the rotation.

This smoothie sounds fabulous. I love peach and the ginger added with it sounds so good. Thank you for sharing on Mommy Monday Blog Hop.
thanks Amy – hope you have a beautiful day!
This looks refreshing and ginger is so good for us.
I try to add ginger to lots of recipes like smoothies and drinks, salad dressings, and marinades. It helps with so many things and adds a spark to food.
Oh my, you really have me salivating for a luscious peach!! I always like them a little warm, as if they have just been plucked from a tree in the sun!
I love the first picture. The smoothie wouldn’t be for me, because I don’t like ginger 🙁 but it looks yummy anyway 🙂
That looks so delicious and refreshing. Wish I could eat peaches.
